Infusion Therapy Programs

Our pharmacists are highly experienced in initiating and monitoring home infusion therapies, and our pharmacy technicians are specifically trained in the preparation of sterile products. Home intravenous therapy allows patients to receive vital fluids and medications without the inconvenience or costs of a hospital visit.

The pharmacists will take extreme care in evaluating the patients’ care plans and regimens to prevent any possibility of drug interactions, especially when the patient receives prescriptions from more than one pharmacy. We work with both the attending physician and caregiver to maintain optimum treatment protocols.

We will coordinate care amongst all health team members (physician, pharmacist, managed care representative, nursing and laboratory) in the home.
